This is a wonderful vintage Santo Domingo earlier 1900's turquoise necklace. This piece consists of fabulous graduating turquoise nuggets with accenting brown to tan shell heishi. Located at the bottom of the necklace is a wonderful double strand jacla pendant that contains fascinating graduating turquoise heishi with accenting white shells. These are the types of necklaces that the Santo Domingo tribes wear in ceremonies. The total length of the necklace including the jacla pendant measures around 38-1/2".
