Up for sale is this striking vintage Navajo silver necklace with pendant. The thick 24" chain is made up of large links and loops with huge shepherds hook closure. The removeable 5-7/8" x 1-1/2" pendant has a 1/2" round bail opening atop a silver box crown with dual silver stars. Connected below is the 3-dimensional oval artwork of feather and floral motif - with triple borders of silver bar, rope and hand carved frame - with the center reaching out front about 1/2" deep! The base has five silver rounds with dual hand wrought feathers dangling from below! Wow - what a fabulous two-piece item! Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1990's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Ben Begaye.
