Product Description
This is a breathtaking vintage Navajo silver squash blossom necklace. This oppulent necklace contains 10 fabulous silver squashes with each carrying impeccable inlaid birds. The birds were beautifully hand carved out of pearl stones. Resting above each bird are amazing dome shaped turquoise stones that appear to have originated from the Bisbee turquoise mine. The naja on this necklace is absolutely remarkable as it contains five more inlaid birds. The naja measures a mind blowing 3-1/4" X 3-1/2" and each silver squash measures around 2-3/8" X 1-1/8". Resting throughout the necklace are wonderful hand wrought silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. This entire necklace is just amazing and complex. Sterling silver. Cir. 1960's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Dennis Ramone . The length of the necklace measures around 32-1/2". Sturdy 233 grams. LAYAWAYS- We are happy to work with you and are more flexible than anyone on the net.
