This is a museum quality vintage Santo Domingo very old necklace consists of marvelous Hachita turquoise stones. This necklace contains perhaps the largest collection of Hachita turquoise we have seen of early deposit. This piece is very old and the stones contain incredible patina. The largest turquoise stone measures around 1" X 3/4". Situated throughout the piece are incredible hand cut and pumped white shell heishi. Hand pumped is something that refers to the openings in the shells done by hand and not machine. Cir. 1930's+. The length of the necklace measures around 24". Sturdy 80 grams.
