Here we have an impressive vintage Navajo necklace. The necklace portion is made up of four long 29" strands of vibrant turquoise nuggets and heishi. The largest of nuggets is about 1/2" x 1/4". The strands end connected with heavy woven cord. The 6-1/2" jacla is a double strand of graduated turquoise discs, with coral beads at the top and five white shell corn at each base. Cir. 1970's+.
