This is a magnificent vintage Navajo museum quality earlier 1900's silver naja necklace. This piece contains some of the finest hand wrought, hogan silver beads we have ever seen. Look at that old naja that contains outstanding silver patterns that include bordering suns and ropes with accenting hand repoussed silver shells. Dangling from the center of the 2" X 2-1/2" silver naja is a marvelous dome shaped turquoise stone that appears to be either Bisbee or Persian turquoise. Located on this necklace are 7 remarkable silver squashes. This piece is truly oppulent and very old. Sterling silver. Cir. 1930's+. The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 116 grams.
