This is a marvelous vintage Navajo hand wrought silver concho belt. This piece contains 13 amazing and intricate oval shaped conchos. Bordering each concho are marvelous silver sun patterns with accenting line segments. A beautiful diamond pattern is cut out of the center of each 2-1/2" X 2" concho. What I love about this piece is that even the links on the back are sterling silver as usually they are copper. Located on the impeccable rectangular shaped 3" X 1-3/4" silver buckle are four outstanding turquoise stones with more incredible bordering silver patterns. The turquoise stones appear to have originated from the impressive Persin turquoise mine. The stones measure around 3/8" x 1/4". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. Late 20th century .
