We are proud to offer this stunning vintage Navajo silver necklace. I absolutely love this shade of red spiny oyster with the high polish silverwork! Three similar scalloped pendants, each measuring 1-7/8" x 1-3/8" have an electrifying domed oval spiny oyster stone set at the heart. While the attached scalloped pendants are similar in designs of ornate deep cut feathers, the one in the middle has the larger 1" x 5/8" stone. The artist has used half inch silver tube beads and silver rounds to string among the spiny oyster beads, creating this absolutely fabulous necklace with silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Melvin Begay. The length of the necklace measures around 26". Sturdy 106 grams.
