This is a magnificent vintage Zuni museum quality inlay necklace being an absolutely oppulent necklace. This piece contains an incredibly intricate inlay of turquoise, spiny oyster, lapis and abalone shell. This necklace is absolutely remarkable and consists of wonderful natural green disc shaped turquoise stones with accenting spiny oyster shells. Resting on the ends of the necklace are fabulous hand wrought silver beads with accenting silver cones and a traditional silver clasp. The inlay pattern is a fascinating parrot pattern. The large inlaid shell pendant measures a whopping 5-1/4" X 3". Sterling silver. Zuni artist Brian Tom . The length of the necklace measures around 36". Sturdy 182 grams.
